Our Promise

"To leave guests more grounded, connected, and full of awe than when they arrived."

About Kayak + Connect

Born from a love of the bay and a belief in slow, meaningful experience.

We believe in the power of nature to restore, inspire, and bring us together. Our experiences invite you to be present, connect deeply, and leave with a full heart.

Every paddle is led by a guide trained not only in safety and ecology, but in the quieter art of holding space — for wonder, for breath, for the people you came with.

Wildlife + Ecology

A bay alive with
quiet wonders.

Tomales Bay is one of the most ecologically rich estuaries on the California coast. We paddle with reverence — at a distance, with curiosity, leaving no trace.

Join the Kayak + Connect Guide Team

We're growing and looking for thoughtful, skilled, community-minded guides to join Kayak + Connect.

Our guides do more than lead paddles. They help create experiences rooted in safety, connection, stewardship, curiosity, and care for the places we explore.

We're especially interested in people who:

  • Have kayaking or outdoor leadership experience
  • Care deeply about guest safety and comfort
  • Love wildlife, nature, and the waters of West Marin
  • Communicate warmly and clearly
  • Work well as part of a collaborative team
  • Bring sound judgment, professionalism, and a calm presence
  • Are excited to keep learning and developing their skills

ACA training or certifications are a plus, but we're also interested in experienced paddlers and outdoor professionals who are eager to grow with us.

What We Offer

A supportive and collaborative guide culture, beautiful places to work, ongoing training and professional development, quality equipment, and the opportunity to help shape a growing company from the beginning.

We are committed to fair, living-wage compensation and to creating work that is sustainable, respectful, and worthy of the skill and responsibility our guides bring to every trip.

We value the knowledge and experience our guides bring, and we want guides to have a genuine voice in how Kayak + Connect evolves.

Interested?

We'd love to hear from you.

Send us a little about yourself, your outdoor or guiding experience, any relevant certifications, and why Kayak + Connect feels like a good fit.
